Welcome To The Ultimate Construction Camp
This ultimate summer construction lego camp is a fun and creative learning experience for children. Kids will explore and experience a world without limits in our high-tech, interactive Robotics Camp that stimulates the imagination. Using the Lego NXT Mindstorms Robotic Inventions System, children will work to design, build and program a robot to perform a number of tasks. Children will also have the option of constructing robots and structures using other building kits. The challenges presented at the Robotics Camp are designed to introduce kids to basic robotic and engineering concepts or to build on previous knowledge of robotic and engineering systems.
The Robotics camp is recommended for ages 7 to 14. No prior experience is needed. Daily sessions include instruction and activities for learning building and programming skills, as well as working on robotics projects and challenges with guidance. The day also includes the use of software such as Lego Digital Designer, Algodoo, Scratch, Chess and more. One hour of outdoor physical activity is an integral part of the day.
Enrolment Numbers
Parents often ask about the age-range and numbers from the past years. The following chart lists the age and gender of the children enroled in previous years at the Robotics Camp. The chart also indicates the number of weeks the child was registered. Under the total number of children is the amount of spots (sp) that were filled due to a child registering for more than one week.

Of the 27 children registered in 2007, 6 (22%) returned in 2008. 34 (48%) of the 71 children registered in 2008 returned in 2009. 54 (35%) of the 153 children registered in 2009 returned in 2010. 47 (29%) of the 164 children registered in 2010 returned in 2011.
